Princes delivered a dark brown female with dark points on June 1st 2022, sired by Golden Legacy (full brother to WLK Limited Edition). This beautiful girl went on to be crowned the AOA 2023 Brown Suri National Color Champion in Halter. She is owned by Pines Edge Suris in Colorado. Princess had her first cria 6/2013 and what a beauty she is!! Skylar was crowned National Champion as a juvie in 2014. Hard to improve on that breeding but we think we just might accomplish that monumental feat as we have just confirmed Princess has been settled by 9 X Judges' Choice Electrofyre. Princess is a great mom with awesome milk production. We look forward to next Spring and our first Electrofyre cria! May 4th, Princess delivered a 23 pound white male cria sired by Electrofyre. He is amazing!! Mom and cria are both doing extremely well. We have named him Cosmic Dust. Cosmo went on to win back to back Supreme Light Male Championships at Nationals. Cosmic Dust is now owned by Midnight Moon Suris. Princess is confirmed pregnant and will deliver a Goldstar cria early Spring 2017!! Delivered dark brown male cria with dark points on April 4th. Another big, healthy boy weighing in at 23 pounds, same weight as his big brother, Cosmic Dust! Goldstar's Prince is currently owned by Blue Dog Farm. Mike Wilkins named her Spectacular and that was spot on. Her Sire, Double Dutch American Spirit was sold for $175,000.00 in 2012 to Beloveds Farm. Her Full Brother, BRKRD Maxamus was skin biopsied by Dr. Evans in 2013 and his results were top of the class for a Suri. Her first cria hit the ground Black Friday 2013 and we are expecting her to continue down the road her dam paved. She is stellar, so nice in fact we are going to rebreed Spectacular with Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar in the Spring of 2014 in hopes of duplicating what this union produced this past fall. SPAR's Torbio's Magdalena has done it again giving us another outstanding cria in 2012. SPAR's Vicki's Sweetie Pea is white out of a black sire, Cinders. Sweetie Pea's dam, Magdalena is strong for producing white, obviously even when bred to black. Sweetie Pea is one of the most high quality white suris we have had at Raynay. She is a show quality white female that will be fun to breed with the color that her sire brings into the picture. Sweetie Pea lives up to her name having a sweeter than sweet disposition. Sweetie Pea has 2 champion half siblings, SPAR's Peak Perfection and SPAR's MacLuster's Ginger Mist. Like her siblings, Sweetie Pea has a very fine fleece with excellent uniformity. Her density is 61.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and her S/P ratio is 8.7 to 1. Notice on the S/P and 250x scans that less than 10% of her secondary fibers show medullation which is unique and should result in excellent handle. She shows 2 of 4 glands. One hundred secondary fibers average 21.1 microns while 50 primary fibers average 29.1 microns for a variation of 8.0 microns. This girl shows extremely strong fiber stats. (Top 1%)

This girl comes by her looks quite naturally as her sire was a 9X Judges' Choice winner and her Dam was the 2013 MAPACA Judges' Choice. She has it all...Blinding luster, soft silky handle, amazing coverage and density galore. She has the wrinkles that allow her to "grow" into her skin which creates the above average density in these particular alpacas. Unfortunately she aborted her first cria and after many failed attempts to get her successfully bred we practically threw the towel in. BUT we noticed at shearing 4/2022 she had gained quite a bit of weight and 1 month later noticed she was "bagged up". Nothing short of a miracle but Sugar delivered a mini me June 5th, sired by Golden Legacy.

GLR Tashina is just about a cute as they come and a ranch favorite for sure. Her mother GLR Tashi was the first offspring of multiple champion GLR Tica, one of the first Shavano daughters. Tica won one of the first judges choices as a colored suri during her career. Tashi was sired by 5 time White Color Champion Young Felipe. GLR Kolaqua, Tashina's dad, was a two time AOBA Nationals Grey Male Color Champion and has produced some awesome cria in the past few years. Tashina is dense, incredibly lustrous and has a great "show ring presence" along with great density, lock and a beautiful little suri head. She is a favorite to turn heads with her crazy and beautiful colored fleece. Her initial micron test was 19.6. With her colored genetics and great fiber characteristics both in person and in her pedigree, it will be fun to see what she produces. UPDATE: We are excited about Star's 2026 fawn female sired by Raynay's Topaz by Sun Shine. She has been the star of our 24/25 showteam! Looking at her parents we would not expect anything less. She is the 2nd offspring of her dam to garner a JC and her sire was a JC at the prestigious Suri Network Fleece show. Bridget’s fleece is dripping with luster but it’s her incredible hand that wins the judges over time after time, soft, uniform and slick. Although her fleece is quite fine it still opens up nicely presenting waves of flat locks, one on top of the other and dripping all the way down her legs and into her belly. Her dam is a 2 X National Champion and her sire has long standing sought after genetics bringing the incredibly lustrous and dense fleece of Wyuna together with the fine uniformity displayed in the Inca line. Bridget comes with a breeding to any of our herdsires but we suggest 6 X Judges Choice WAP Northstar, in fact we think that is a perfect pairing. He will make his show debut at Nationals March 2026. Forest finished out her yearling halter campaign as the Reserve Champion at the double shows at GWAS. Now heading to Heart & Soul Alpacas for a date with Northstar. We are adding Forest to our female foundation herd and looking forward to see what she will produce for Raynay!! Can't believe the color Sonata's Major Theme by Electrofyre is throwing for us! His first crop of cria hit the ground this year and we are ecstatic. Major's sire is the 9 Time Judge's Choice recipient WLK Electrofyre. Willow's sire is the infamous Chakotah. With such prepotent genetics in the union you would expect nothing but quality. This guy rocked the show world during his stellar career. Mercury has it all. The lock, luster, and density combined with an awesome conformation and laid back disposition! Sired by the one and only Crown Prince (Crown Royal Son) 3 x Judges' Choice winner. Mercury will have his first cria hit the ground late Summer 2016. Closed for outside breedings. At 4 years of age he is maintaining a 18.4 micron count from his histogram submitted May 2, 2017. Previous owners comments: When Nataliah was born, we could hardly believe how black she was, nor how bright and lustrous her fleece is. Apparently the judges that Nataliah encountered during the 2011 show season could hardly believe it, either. Nataliah took a 3rd at GWAS and the Futurity, a 2nd at CABA, a 1st at the IAO, and a 1st and a Color Champion at AOBA. Nataliah’s dam is Nikatia. Yes, that Nikatia—the mother of PVA Mahogany Prince. The one who started it all for Park View Alpacas. Her dam was Peruvian Ninochtka, and her sire must have been some handsome fellow roaming the Altiplano. In them lay the seeds of PVA’s entire breeding program—the Headmaster himself, and his 2nd, 3rd,4th, and soon 5th generation Supreme and Color Champions. Nikatia has been bred to many different herd sires in her long career, and produced such offspring as PVA Geneva, PVA Nikita, and Nicollette of PVA. In 2008 she was bred Nikatia to MacGyver’s Balboa, thus producing the Color Champion Nataliah of PVA in 2009. Nataliah’s sire, MacGyver’s Balboa, won 16 AOBA certified halter championships and 21 blue ribbons during his own show career. He is a world record holder for the most halter class color championships in history. In 2008 he received a color championship at the AOBA National Fleece show, and also got the Judges’ Choice and Best Lock awards, chosen from among all the color groups. Most recently, in 2011, Balboa was named the Dark Herd Sire of the Year, and Reserve Light Herd Sire of the Year! Offspring like Nataliah made this possible for him. We at Raynay Alpaca Farm are excited about the addition of Nattie to our growing herd. She is correct conformationally and displays the independent lock structure as well as a high degree of luster. May 5th 2019 Nataliah delivered a stunning black female cria sired by Goldstar's Jet. We have named her Cazual Chic of Nataliah. She is spending her Summer in Colorado and we are looking forward to showing her Spring 2021 in Full Fleece. Chic competed in the quad show fall 2020 in Iowa and garnered 4 championships!! Check out this boy! Maxamus was crowned the 2012 and 2013 Futurity Champion! He was also placed 1st at the 2012 and Reserve National Champion in 2013. Pretty impressive I'd say! This boy has tremendous lock, luster and density. He also displays nice bone and coverage and has a very impressive suri phenotype look. His full sister (WLK Spectacular) finished her show career last year as a 5X Judge's Choice Champion!! This boy comes by it very naturally as his sire Dutch was a champion himself and his dam is a constant producer of champions. His sire and dam sold for a combined $215,000.00. I think someone thinks this combination is pretty spectacular. As of February 2025, Maxamus' offspring have won 1 judge's choice, 14 color championships, 9 reserve color championships, 5 best bred & owns, and 51 first place ribbons. There is no doubt in my mind that he will continue to be a producer of champions!! Dr. Norm Evans reported from the skin biopsy from Maxamus, his true density of 84.29 is the most dense suri ever measured. At the time of the report he had seen only 2 suris measured in the 70's. Note on the S/P & 250X scan that greater than 80% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers. He shows level 4 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 20.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 26.3 microns. This equates to a micron variation of only 5.5 microns. Note from all scans the grey areas around the follicles which should create super luster as well as being a genetic trait passed from the sire to his offspring. His strongest trait is likely his fineness with only a 5.5 micron spread. This trait with few fibers greater than 30 microns appears also to be a strong trait passed from the sire to the offspring as well. His density averages 20% greater than the best Suri males and with 80% of this secondary fiber medullated, he likely feels even more dense. This male is strong with genetic fiber traits.

Note on the S/P & 250x scan that only 30% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers which should relate to excellent handle. He shows level 3 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density if likely nutritional. The average density that I evaluated in 2011-12 in mature Suri males that I assume breeders considered their best is noted on the third page of the new current summary.
